Are you a teenager in need of community service hours for school or graduation? Do you have a teenage son or daughter looking to get involved in the community?  Harrisburg River Rescue’s Junior Program helps 14-18 year olds gain experience while being part of a team working towards a common goal. As a volunteer non-profit, membership is great for those community service hours, listing on college or work resumes, or just feeling good about being involved in the community.  

Do you enjoy planning events? Do your friends tell you that you are the life of the party? Do you have creative and innovative ideas for raising money for a good cause?  Harrisburg River Rescue's fundraising committee is vital to the overall success of our public safety mission.  No experience or desire in water rescue; no worries.

Looking to get involved? Longing to feel like part of a team?  Harrisburg River Rescue offers opportunity to get involved towards a common cause; public safety.  No experience, no problem. Our in house instructors give you the training required. Don't like water, no worries. Harrisburg River Rescue has administrative and public relation opportunities too.

Once you have completed your application, and paid your dues, please email a copy of any certifications and your Child Abuse clearance to [email protected]. After your application, dues, certifications and Child Abuse clearance are received, you will be notified once your application is reviewed.  Dues are non-refundable, and application will not be reviewed until all certifications and Child Abuse clearance are received.
